On Saturday the 7th, I headed to Hamburg, Pennsylvania for the 2nd Annual Steinmetz Jewelers Bridal Show. Kent Steinmetz and his staff made sure that the day was one of luxury from beginning to end!
My traveling companion and I were escorted to Hamburg in a fully equipped limousine. When I stepped out of the limousine, a red carpet awaited along with a crowd of media, children, and other spectators who had been waiting in hopes of getting an autograph!
The limousine ride was followed by a horse drawn carriage ride through the center of town. This is one time when I can truly say that I “stopped traffic”! At the jewelry store, WMGH radio was there to follow up on our interview.
I also had the opportunity to wear the Miss PA jewelers crown made of gold and amethyst – what an honor. After the bridal show concluded, the carriage drove me down Main St., where I stopped to surprise a group of children who were gathered for a Saturday matinee at Strand Theatre. The kids were ecstatic as I spoke to them on stage and signed several autographs including the vintage theatre’s “wall of fame”. It was a great day!

WOW! Steinmetz Jewelers Voted Number One!
Steinmetz Jewelers has been announced as the first place winner of the 2008 Berks-Mont Newspapers Blue Ribbon Awards. We were voted the favorite jewelry store in the Northern Berks County area! The results were tabulated by The Hamburg Area Item and Kutztown Area Patriot. Thanks to everyone who voted!
